Crossing paths with creatives all over the world over the span of our careers, we have come together to create a global creative collective focusing on jewelry and handcrafted lifestyle pieces. We are very proud to announce the start of the Los Angeles / Tokyo based jewelry company PAINTED FLOWERS. This is a lifetime of work - combining decades of industry experience - MDDN and Tadaaki Wakamatsu are excited to be able to share in this work together.
Tadaaki Wakamatsu was born in 1977 in Tokyo - Japan. After working as a fashion model, he studied accessory design under Mr. Seima Kazumasa. Wakamatsu established “Q-pot.” as a women's accessory brand in 2002 and later opened Q-pot CAFE in 2012. Wakamatsu believes that accessories are not only for decoration, but could also be used as a “communication tool” and has carried this through all of his designs. Wakamatsu has worked with many organizations over the years and continues to be a leader in design and as a creative director.
